COVID-19 - CONTINGENCY MEASURES
In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, Houze adopted the following measures to ensure the health and safety of all residents:
- If the resident has any symptoms (fever, cough, tiredness, shortness of breath, etc.) he/she should contact Houze and the National Health Service (SNS 24 phone number: 808 24 24 24);
- If this occurs, the resident should stay isolated until contacting the health line and follow the recommended procedure;
- If the resident has any symptoms, he/she should avoid using the kitchen at the same time as the other flatmates and always disinfect every utensil used;
- It’s forbidden for anyone other than the residents and Houze staff to access the residence;
- When entering the residence, residents should take off their shoes. Outdoor shoes should not be used inside the residence;
- Residents should wear masks in the residence’s common areas. Houze will offer a certified reusable mask to each resident;
- Residents should air out rooms and common areas at least twice a day for an hour. It’s extremely important to keep a well ventilated residence;
- During visits from the cleaning or maintenance teams, residents should avoid using the common areas, thus avoiding any contact with the team. If the resident needs to be in a common area at the same time as a Houze staff member, it is mandatory to wear a mask;
- All residences have hand sanitizer that will be refilled when necessary;
- Houze staff have means of protection and products for the weekly disinfestation of the residences (when applicable), but we ask that residents proactively to it as well on a regular basis.
